The mission of the St. Augustine Children’s Chorus is to provide motivated young singers with a superior choral experience of learning and performing high quality music literature for St. Augustine and the surrounding community.

The St. Augustine Children’s Chorus begins rehearsals this September.  We sing a variety of music, art songs, folk songs, spirituals, and just fun songs.  Part of every rehearsal is devoted to vocal techniques, music note reading, and learning more about the music.  We sing unison, 2-part, and 3-part songs. 

All interested singers 8 – 14 yrs.
Open to new members. 
$25 per semester materials and registration fee. 

Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 4:00pm to 5:30pm, at Memorial Presbyterian Church choir room, 32 Sevilla Street, starting September 2009.

Performances by the St. Augustine Children's Chorus
 

The Chorus will join the St. Augustine Community Chorus and orchestra at Christmas to sing several numbers.  We also perform in several community events in December and in the spring. 

December 2009 performances include:

Dec 9 Wednesday at 7:30 pm with the Flagler College Singers in the Rotunda of the main building- Ponce Hall

Dec 5 Saturday at 4 pm- Surf Illumination at the St. Augustine Pier

Dec 12 Saturday at 8:00 pm at the Cathedral Basilica with the St. Augustine Community Chorus

Dec 13 Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Cathedral Basilica with the St. Augustine Community Chorus
